Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, improve your browsing experience, and enable certain features to work properly.

Cookies cannot read files from your computer, install viruses, or identify you personally unless you explicitly provide your details (like when logging into your account). This policy explains what cookies we use on the Exelor website and EAAF platform, why we use them, and how you can control them.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for four main purposes:

Essential cookies — These are strictly necessary for our website and platform to function. They enable you to log in, stay securely authenticated, and use core features like the process editor and workflow builder. Without these cookies, the platform simply would not work. We do not ask for consent to use essential cookies because they are required to provide the service you requested.

Performance and analytics cookies — These help us understand how visitors use our website and platform. We collect anonymous data about pages visited, time spent on site, and feature usage. This helps us improve performance, fix bugs faster, and design a better user experience. These cookies do not identify you personally.

Functionality cookies — These remember your preferences, such as your chosen language (English or Russian), light or dark theme, and interface layout settings. They make your experience more comfortable by remembering your choices between visits.

Marketing and advertising cookies — These are optional and used only with your explicit consent. They help us show relevant content and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. We do not use these cookies to track you across unrelated websites or build detailed profiles about you.

3. Essential Cookies We Use

These cookies are required for the Exelor website and EAAF platform to operate:

  • exelor_session — Maintains your login session while you use the platform. Deleted when you close your browser or log out.
  • csrftoken — Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks to keep your account secure. Stored for up to one year.
  • timezone — Remembers your time zone so dates and times display correctly in your region. Stored for one year.
  • cookie_consent — Records your cookie preferences so we don’t ask you repeatedly. Stored for one year.

We also use temporary session cookies when you interact with forms, the process editor, or workflow builder. These are deleted automatically when you close your browser.

4. Analytics Cookies We Use

To improve our service, we use the following analytics tools with anonymized data:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Helps us understand how visitors find and use our website. It tracks page views, session duration, and traffic sources. Data is anonymized and aggregated. Cookies (_ga, _gid) last up to two years but contain no personally identifiable information.
  • Mixpanel — Used inside the EAAF platform to understand how customers use features like BPMN editing, SOP creation, and n8n integrations. Helps us prioritize improvements. Data is tied to your account only while you are logged in and is anonymized for aggregate reporting.
  • Sentry — Monitors JavaScript errors and application crashes to help us fix bugs quickly. Does not collect personal data — only technical details about errors and browser environment.

You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences or using browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger.

5. Functionality Cookies We Use

These cookies enhance your experience by remembering preferences:

  • language_preference — Remembers whether you prefer English or Russian interface. Stored for one year.
  • theme_preference — Remembers your choice of light or dark mode. Stored for one year.
  • ui_layout — Remembers interface preferences like collapsed sidebars or table column visibility. Stored for one year.
  • form_recovery — Temporarily saves partial form input if you accidentally close a window, allowing you to recover your work. Deleted after seven days or when you submit the form.

6. Marketing Cookies (Optional)

We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies on our website. In the future, we may introduce optional cookies for:

  • Remarketing — Showing relevant ads to people who previously visited our site (e.g., via Google Ads or LinkedIn).
  • Social media tracking — Measuring engagement from social media campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag).

If we add these cookies in the future, we will:

  • Clearly explain their purpose before activation
  • Require your explicit opt-in consent
  • Provide an easy way to withdraw consent at any time
  • Never share your personal data with advertising networks

You will always have the choice to decline marketing cookies without affecting your ability to use the Exelor website or EAAF platform.

7. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use to deliver our platform:

  • Google Cloud / AWS — Infrastructure providers may set minimal cookies for load balancing and security. These do not track you personally.
  • Stripe / PayPal — Payment processors set temporary cookies during checkout. These are used only for transaction processing and are deleted after payment completion.
  • Intercom — Our customer support chat may set cookies to maintain chat sessions. Only active when you open the chat widget.

We do not allow third parties to use cookies for their own advertising or tracking purposes on our website.

8. How to Control Cookies
